Star Wars Guardians of the Whills

This is a Star Wars book. This takes place before the movie Rogue One. Chirrut and Baze live on a moon named Jedha. They were Guardians of the Whills. They protected the Temple of Kyber until the Empire came. The Empire is on Jedha to mine Kyber crystals. Chirrut is blind and fights with a walking stick, and Baze fights with a big Imperial cannon for speeders. The people on Jedha don’t have the supplies they need. Baze and Chirrut steal food and medicine from the Empire and give them to orphans. Saw Gerrera wants to fight the Empire, too. Will Chirrut and Baze join forces with him? Read the book to find out.

I liked the relationship between Baze and Chirrut. There’s a poem, prayer, or meditation at the beginning of each chapter. I liked them. This book is funny and exciting. I wish there had been more pictures. All Star Wars fans would like this book. This book made me think about war. I didn’t like when the book was from the narrator’s point of view. I liked how it switched between Chirrut’s and Baze’s points of view. I’ll read this book again.
