Star Wars Adventures: The Clone Wars – Battle Tales

The Clone Wars: Battle Tales was made by various artists and written by Michael Mored, and while it’s cool to have so many different creators in the novel, the way the art style kept switching sort of brought me out of the story each time it happened. It would sometimes switch mid-chapter which was distracting to me. Some people may not mind that, and if so go ahead and give it a read! Another thing I got caught up on was the characters. I grew up watching The Clone Wars TV show as a lot of other people did and sometimes the things characters would say seemed a little out of place. Now some comedic relief is gonna be there; it’s targeted at younger kids and some humor is always appreciated. But, based on what I had already seen from the characters sometimes it would seem out of place for them to say certain things. The dialogue didn’t seem to match up with the characters’ facial expressions sometimes. They would be saying something intimidating, but look concerned or confused. Overall, I would say it’s a pretty good story to let your kids read if they like Star Wars.
