Star Darlings Sage and the Journey to Wishworld

This is actually two books in one. One book is called Sage and the Journey to Wishworld, and the other book is called Libby and the Class Election. If you turn the book over, you can read the other book! I think that is cool.

The characters in these books include Astra, Sage, and Adora. What happens in these two books is that the characters play instruments in one of the chapters. What I really liked about these stories is that they are magical stories. A quote from this book that I enjoyed was “If you like to smile and really hate to frown, then get yourself a Sparklebrush, It’s the best toothlight in town!” I thought that was funny. I also liked when the characters do good things: “By tomorrow morning you will be on your way to helping save Starland!”

What I didn’t like about this book was when Gemma studied her choices for the instruments, which were guitar, flute, star shakers, pluckalong, and clarinet. I wish she would have chosen pluckalong! I give this book 4.5 stars – it’s really good. I think that girls who enjoy stories about magical journeys would enjoy this book!
