Spooky, Scary Skeletons

Spooky, Scary Skeletons is a perfect book for before and during the Halloween season! The book is based on the 1996 song and music video by Andrew Gold, about skeletons who want to go out and meet other people (but it’s probably not a good idea). In the book, kids are dressed up as skeletons going trick-or-treating, allowing the skeletons to socialize and be around others like they’ve always wanted!

When you read the book and look at the illustrations, you can play the song in the background and follow along with the lyrics/words on the pages. The illustrations are also fun to look at: they get you in the spooky Halloween mood! Readers of all ages can enjoy the story; younger readers can listen to it and older readers will do better with reading the words that are drawn out with extra letters like “o”, “i”, and “e”.
