Sorceline
Sorceline loves to study mythical creatures and has been doing it at Professor Archibald Balzar’s school for cryptozoology. But one night when she and her classmates are out in the dense forest surrounding the school searching for a unicorn, one of them goes missing. Additionally, the creatures of the island seem to be behaving strangely, and the magic isn’t working right. All of a sudden, Sorceline’s life is swamped by boy drama, friends that turn out to be not so friendly, and a deepening mystery that threatens to consume them all.
I liked this book because it was a graphic novel, and I enjoyed keeping up with the fast-paced storyline and all the twists and turns! Sorceline was an interesting character to read about, and I liked how throughout the story she was untangling the truth about herself from the lies of the mystery. I enjoyed this story, and will be looking forward to the sequel promised by the cliffhanger ending! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a short, action-packed adventure!
