Sophie and Sparkle
Pony Camp Diaries: Sophie And Sparkle is a book about a girl named Sophie who goes to a place called Pony Camp where she gets a pony to take care of and ride for a week. Sophie gets a really pretty bay for her pony whose name is Sparkle and she also gets an awesome diary which is the book. At first, she is having a lot of fun. The other girls are really nice and she’s having a great time riding Sparkle and writing about all the fun she’s having and she can’t wait for the riding competition on Friday. Then a girl named Izzy’s silk goes missing, and after that other things go missing, like Shanice’s body brush or Dani’s ribbons, and Sophie starts to suspect that someone is stealing their things.
I think the illustrator did a good job illustrating this book. I really liked how some of the things on the cover are metallic. I also think the illustrator draws horses really well. I enjoyed reading this book because it had a really interesting storyline and it was a short book because it didn’t take me too long to read. I’m definitely going to read all of the books in this series if I can.
