Something’s Fishy: TOON Level 1

We rated this book:

I am giving this book five stars for teaching me so many new things about fish! I love to learn, and this book is full of cool information and facts.

One of the interesting things I learned is that you can tell a fish’s age by the number of rings on its scales. For example, I am six years old, so I would have six rings on each one of my scales if I were a fish! Another fun fact is that fish are vertebrates, which means they have skeletons inside their bodies, just like humans.

More creatures that are not fish also live in the water, like jellyfish and starfish. Things you would not think are fish, like sharks and seahorses, are actually fish!

The most interesting thing I learned from this book is that goldfish get their pretty gold color from the sun. If they did not get any sunshine, they would be black instead of gold!

This book is fun, funny, and interesting. I would recommend that everyone read it if they want to learn something new that they never knew before!
