Snails Are Just My Speed: A Toon Book by Kevin McClosky is a non-fiction book. The book is educational, and it helps you learn about snails. The book is really funny. The funniest part is the mucus! I like how the snail doesn’t get hurt when he gets over a knife. It’s cool how he repairs himself with his own mucus. It’s amazing that their shells can blend with rocks so birds can’t eat the snail. It’s also amazing that worms are faster than a snail! Snails are so slow. At the end of the book, you can learn how to draw snails. It looks fun to draw snails. It is clever of them to teach kids how to draw snails. I really like a lot of the Toon Books!
