Sit, Stay, Love: A Wish Novel
When Cecilia opens up to the rest of the world including finding a new friend, and spending time with a popular, arrogant but cute boy from school, her whole life changes. Instead of being the girl in school who never says a word and makes random lists while hiding in her closet, Cecilia adventures out into the world of reality. She meets a pug who she calls, Potato, at the shelter Orphan Paws where she volunteers, and Cecilia just can’t resist that little face. This is the dog that she has been waiting for…but now it’s too late! Eric Chung, the popular boy from school has already planned to adopt Potato and transform him into a prize show-dog. With only three steps to her sabotaging plan, Cecilia begins efforts to prevent Potato from showing. She later questions her thoughts about sabotage, and Eric. As a reader, I can easily relate to Cecilia’s mixed emotions.
This is a definitely a five star book! It was very interesting and the story drew me in. I couldn’t stop reading because you didn’t know what would happen next! I was smiling the whole time I read it. If you are a dog-lover, this is a “must-read” for you!
