Alice is a girl with leukemia and she has a best friend named Harvey. Alice finds out that she is going into remission and is afraid because it’s a new ballpark for her. Harvey and her parents are there for her while she faces heartbreak, troubled relationships, bullies, and just life. She does some things that may never be able to be mended.
The confusing part was when after every chapter you would have a new time period and a new point of view. You would get to a really good part then the chapter would end. When you went to read the next chapter you were somewhere completely different.
The author did a really good job defining Alice’s feelings and problems. You could feel the emotions along with the characters. I loved the details the author put into this book. She did a really good job describing the relationship between Alice and Harvey. This book is a recommendation for others. I enjoyed it a lot.
