Shipwreckers: The Curse of the Cursed Temple of Curses – or – We Nearly Died. A Lot.

Description

Mike and his little sister Dani are going on a vacation with their family to the Amazon. The cruise captain’s name is Kevin, and the boat looks like something a toddler built. There is a vending machine holding up the roof of the boat, with a snake living inside!

During the cruise, Captain Kevin takes the tourists to an island with a bunch of souvenir shops. Mike doesn’t think the island is safe, so he and Dani go wait on the boat for everyone else to return. But Captain Kevin sneakily gets back on the boat and departs, leaving the rest of the tourists behind.

Mike and Dani accidentally get caught up in Captain Kevin’s adventure. Captain Kevin has one jewel from an Amazonian temple, and he wants to find the temple so he can get the rest of the treasure.

Captain Kevin’s crazy adventures put Mike and Dani in more peril than they could have reckoned for, going on a vacation! Will they make it out alive? I liked this book’s twists and turns, the characters’ bad jokes, and the adventurous climax of the story!
