Shark Must Park!

The story is about a shark trying to find a present for his friend. Unfortunately, he can’t find parking. This means it’s not going to be as easy as he thinks. The plot of the story was very original. I think this because a shark in a car is pretty different from other things, making the story very original. I was really able to get to know the characters, especially the main character, shark. I learned that he was very kind and generous to others. For example, when he finally found a parking garage with one spot left, he let the fish go instead. He did this because he saw that the fish was with her kids, and they really needed some shade. The dialogue in this story is pretty good. It flowed well. I think the moral of this story is to always put others before yourself. I think this because Shark let Fish have the last available parking spot. The illustrations were great. They weren’t too bright or dull. They were just right. They really made sense with the story and followed along with it. This story was not really believable. My reasoning for this is sharks don’t drive cars! I think kids that are six to eight years old will enjoy this entertaining fiction picture book with a great moral. I don’t think this book would make a great series because of the way the story is written specifically on one topic, making it hard to have a series. This was a great book and you should totally read it. “Always be kind.”
