Shark Kiss, Octopus Hug
This book Shark Kiss, Octopus Hug is an amusing story with brightly colored pictures. On each page there are so many people and expressions and things to look at. The two main characters, a shark and octopus who are friends, are persistent and come up with a lot of ideas to try and get what they want. They fail again and again, but they keep trying. Their ideas are clever, and it’s amusing how the kids keep running away from them because the main characters are actually a shark and an octopus. The thing that the octopus and shark want are a hug and a kiss, and what human kid would want to hug or kiss a shark or an octopus? In the end the shark ends up so disappointed at their latest attempt, and octopus comforts him with an 8-legged octopus hug, and shark kisses the octopus. So in the end, they both get what they really wanted. Oh, and on the last page when you already think the book is over, it shows a girl and a dog hugging the octopus and the shark after all.
