Serafina and the Splintered Heart
Serafina and the Splintered Heart is an exciting, mysterious book about a young girl, Serafina, whose heart has been splintered into three parts, her spirit, her body, and her cat form.
There are two big problems Serafina has to face. She has to piece her soul back together and she has to defeat Uriah, the creator of the black cloak and the twisted staff from previous adventures.
She puts herself back together with the help of her friend Braden and Uriah’s daughter, who can speak to spirits.
This was a super fast-paced book with a lot of action and many surprising twists. I finished the book in three days because I could not stop thinking about the characters’ fate until the end.
The book included some magic and was a little creepy. I liked the book, but it’s not my usual selection. I did not like a few parts of the beginning when some of the characters nearly gave up on her.
This book would be a great choice for boys and girls alike. Ten years and up would be a good age because it’s a little scary and sad!
