This book is about an 11-year-old boy named Alex who wants to send a golden iPod with daily recordings about his life into space. He hopes that he will be able to send it to aliens so they can learn about Earth. It is a very interesting story that is very sad at times, but then it gets better. He goes to some meet-up with a bunch of other people to shoot his rocket, but then it fails. He is so sad until he finds a match for his dad on ancestry.com. It says his dad is somewhere in LA, so he goes to look for him even though he died years ago. When he gets there he finds out he has a half-sister! The plot of this story is very wild and creative and is certain to make you want to keep reading. The characters in this story were very unique in their own special ways. The language in this story was a little hard to understand at some times. Ages eleven and up would like this book. You should really read this book because it made me want to keep reading forever!
