Secrets of Bearhaven is about a boy named Spencer who meets bears. When his parents went missing, he was really desperate to find them.

One day he went to school. Then his Uncle Mark came to come and get him. Spencer didn’t know why, but he left anyway.

They rushed through the city and Uncle Mark explained to him why they were going so fast. Uncle Mark said that he would be safer with bears. But Spencer didn’t understand why.

The bear’s name was B.D. B.D. took him to a town named Bearhaven. B.D. said that a lot of bears lived there. But they can leave whenever they want to.

A few moments later, they went into Bearhaven and Spencer met Prof. Weaver. After that, he met Prof. Weaver’s family. Spencer was very tired and hungry. So Prof. Weaver’s wife, Bunny, fed him then showed him his room. It was an exact replica of his room at home. The youngest of the Weavers, Kate, introduced herself. Then she showed him her two brothers. They were playing a game called Salmon King. In the morning, Spencer had a bowl of berries and honey with Kate. Then he and Kate walked around Bearhaven. Kate showed him The Lab. The Lab is a secret place that only certain bears are allowed in.
