Secret of the Time Tablets (Cleopatra in Space #3)

Cleo and her friends travel to the foreign city of Hykosis where some of the worst thieves in the universe live to try to find the Time Tablets. Then, Octavian attacks their space ship. Cleo is separated from some of her friends and they all have to survive attacks and dangers to get back together.

Cleopatra in Space: Book Three Secret of the Time Tablets by Mike Maihack is the final episode of this graphic novel trilogy involving a teenage Cleopatra from ancient Egypt who has been transported into the future as the prophesied savior of the galaxy. She doesn’t quite fit into this role easily, but slowly becomes more sure of herself, even if she’s not sure that she can save the entire galaxy. Over the course of the three books, she’s also grown from being full of herself to being selfless. The drawings are colorful, the story is exciting and funny, and this book is a good conclusion to the series, but still leaves opportunities for further adventures.

This book would be great for those who have read the first two books in the series but would be a little confusing for someone just picking up this book as their introduction to the series. It would be good for readers 7 to 12 years old.
