Searching for Super
Searching for Super is the sequel to Almost Super. These are two great books with terrible titles. I would recommend this book to people who liked the movie The Incredibles, or anything like that. This book is a little bit creepier than that movie, because October Jones is really evil. It is a really funny book and there are a lot of jokes, like in comics such as Calvin and Hobbes.
You have to read the first book before this one to understand what is happening, but this book is even better than the first. This time, the Baileys and the Johnsons are “hunkering down,” which is kind of just saying that they are going into hiding because of the super-villains, the Joneses. Benny and Rafter Bailey don’t want to be hiding. They want to be doing something important, because, in the first book, when they finally got their real powers, they only got to enjoy being superheroes for about a week. In this book, they will do anything to go out and fight the bad guys, even if it means not telling their parents what they are doing.
