Salam Alaikum: A Message of Peace

I really like Salam Alaikum by Harris J. My favorite picture is at the very end when the people are holding hands all around the world. I already knew this song when I saw the book because I like to listen to Harris J.’s songs. He always has a positive message in his songs, and so does this book. It was fun to read the book along with listening to the song. It was also fun to look for Harris J. in all of the drawings on each page. I like all of the bright colors. In the beginning, he brightens someone’s day by sharing his umbrella. The book shows you that one little thing you do can brighten the day of all of the people around you. I love when he paints the building, which adds color to the city, too. We can all make the world a more beautiful place with a smile.
