Rosa Explores Life Cycles (Rosa’s Workshop)

Rosa and her friends love the outside, so when they find frog eggs in a pond, the investigation begins. Rosa and her friends use a magnifying glass to get a closer look, then they use books to learn about the frogs. Each day they spend time outside and observe how the frog eggs have changed into the various life cycles a frog goes through to become a frog.

This is a cute book for little readers, perfect for my sister. The pages are thick and sturdy paper so they can’t be ripped, while the illustrations are still bright and colorful. I learned something new in this book, that tadpoles have a cement gland to attach themselves to rocks when they are in the beginning of their lifecycle. I would like to see more books in the series with Rosa and her friends.
