Rise of the Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel

This is book three of the Descendants series. When King Triton takes his trident out at a festival, it gets lost, and the race is on to find it before it falls into the hands of the villains! Mal, daughter of Maleficent, wants to get the trident and return it to King Triton. However, Uma, daughter of Ursula, wants to find the trident to escape the Isle of the Lost.

Uma goes to the Isle of the Doomed to find Ursula’s seashell necklace. She thinks she can use it to find the trident since they are the two most powerful objects in the sea.

Will Mal and her friends find the trident before Uma and her pirate friends do? What sort of adventures will they have along the way?

I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s unique because it puts a twist on tales we are already familiar with, but it makes them fresh and new! The story was very suspenseful, with some funny parts thrown in. Reading this story made me immediately want to find books one and two of the series!
