Rejoice, o fans of the exotic, the unusual, and the unbelievable! An all-new edition of Ripley’s Believe It or Not has arrived, complete with over two hundred pages, each featuring dozens of amazing stories and high quality color photographs. The book is divided into ten sections (covering such topics as sports, transport, feats, and food), an introduction to the book and to Believe It or Not, and a comprehensive index. The book has both strange tales from the distant past and from as recently as early 2014, creating a good blend of history and recent events, and exhibited stories that individuals had submitted. Overall, it is an excellent addition to the collection of veteran Ripley’s fans or the perfect book to induct newcomers.

This book is most satisfactory in many aspects: the photos are all marvelous and well-placed; the stories are engaging; and the book is lucidly organized, making it a great installment in the Ripley’s saga. Some of the stories were rather mundane, but most were proper Ripley’s caliber, so on the whole, this book was quite enjoyable.
