Rhino Rumpus
This book is about three little rhinos who can be very naughty when they play, or when someone acts rude, or when someone else bites the others, and then mama rhino has to jump in. When they eat, one plays with the food and two stand up and leave the table just to have another fight. Mama decides it’s bedtime; they need to take a bath, but they are too big to fit in the tub, so there is always someone being squished. And when they get dried off, they start playing with the towels and then their toothbrushes. Mama asks for quiet, so she can start snuggling with them, telling them how much she loves them, and at the end they all hug together. Hopefully they will all get along when they wake up.
I liked this book; it was so funny! It made me think of when it’s time for me to go to bed and I drive my mama crazy by running around. My mom gets very tired and frustrated, and she will sometimes yell: “IN BED!” But then she’ll read me a book and snuggle with me so that I can relax and fall asleep.
