Revver the Speedway Squirrel: The Big Race Home

This book was really cute, but what else do you expect when the main character is a cute, cuddly squirrel? Revver the squirrel has big plans to become a speedway racer! He is alert and willing to follow the instructions of his trainer. He has made a big decision to leave his family to follow his dream and even though he misses his family, he is determined to try to make his dream become a reality. Revver knew it would be hard work but he is up for the challenge.

This is an adorable book. It kind of reminds me of the adventures of Humphrey the hamster. I like how important parts of words in the text are in different fonts. The illustrations were simple pencil sketches but enough to bring Revver’s personality to life. I look forward to more books in this series.
