Revenge of the Green Banana

Revenge of the Green Banana is a book about a boy named Jim Murphy who is planning to prank his teacher Sister Angelica Rose for being mean to him and his friends Iggy, Tom Tom, Squints, Meyer, and especially Phillip. Jim has numerous concerns: will they have enough money to do the project, will the mechanism misfire, or will someone else trigger the device? Everyone else is confident, but will they get caught and end up in prison as fugitives for the rest of their lives? Only time will tell as the journey continues.

I definitely feel like during the book you get to know the characters really well, and all of their great personalities really shone through. The plot was interesting and very believable. The illustrations were very bright, colorful, and full of energy and fun. Anyone who can read chapter books should read this book. This book would and does make a great series filled with action and laughs. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone my age, and I rate this a fifty thumbs up.
