Recipe
This hilarious book is about a little girl named Kristen who makes up a recipe and then cooks it. Her recipe has unbelievable ingredients like twenty bags of marshmallows and horse meat substitute. Her cooking is really funny, and she makes a big mess. The illustrations are really funny, too.
I thought it was cool that the book cover turns into a giant poster of Kristen’s recipe creation. My favorite part of the book was when the dog re-ate the bite of the special recipe. That made me laugh and say, “Eww!” I would not want to eat her recipe, but it looked like it was fun to make and it was funny to read about.
I think this book is perfect for kids who love to cook, do science experiments or just make messes. You should definitely read it.
