Ratpunzel (Hamster Princess)
Hamster Princess: Ratpunzel is a cute, cheerful story of how Harriet helps out her best friend Wilbur to find his special egg that has been stolen.
Super-clever Harriet Hamsterbone, who always likes a good adventure, decides to help Wilbur, and they are whisked away on a silly adventure where they meet lots of other goofy rodents. They have to track down Dame Gothel, make it through the kingdom of sunshine–where they have to listen to silly poems about sausages, clouds, and birds–and eventually make it to the DEADLY TOWER where they meet Ratpunzel and the ominous Dame Gothel and help Ratpunzel to escape!
I liked that this book is written like a chapter book and a comic book combined. It was quite an easy and quick read for me, and I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this hilarious book for kids six years old and up.
The unexpected ending left me hungry for more of Harriet’s funny adventures, and I can’t wait for the next one!
