Rappy the Raptor
This book is so much fun to read! I like the way it sounds and you can feel the beat. Rappy is a Raptor that is always rhyming when he speaks. He tells about how he fell and hurt his head when he was a baby. His parents didn’t know what to do when he started rhyming all of his words. They took him to the hospital to get checked out. He explains everything they did at the hospital to try to figure out why he was always rhyming. He had to have shots, pee in pots, x-rays, and more. In the end the doctors said that nothing was wrong with him and that he was just born that way. The illustrations in this book are really fun to look at. All of the characters in the book are dinosaurs. One of my favorite illustrations is of the ambulance with the bird as the siren. I also like the illustrations of him in the lab hooked up to a machine. I think kids of all ages will enjoy reading or listening to this book. I think teachers and parents will also like reading this book.
