Quiet, is a good book for little kids. At the start, all the animals are busy, and the trees are blowing. The grandfather says that everything is busy and noisy. When the children find a bench, the grandfather asks them to sit down so they can be quiet. In the end, everything is not busy except while the girl and boy are quiet, the ants are busy, and the bees are buzzing around. They close their eyes to listen.

At my nature school, we practice being still and quiet in a place we pick outside. If we sit in our sit-spot long enough, the animals will come out of hiding and let us watch them. We sometimes forget to be quiet and start being noisy. The picture at the start of the book where everything is busy is very colorful and bright. When the people are quiet, the illustrations are quiet, too.

The point of this book is that when you are quiet, you can pay attention to all the things around you. This is a good book for people that need to calm down.
