Puss in Boots Volume 2 – Cat About Town
In this comic book are four different stories about Puss in Boots from DreamWorks studios. In the first one, Puss sees a shoemaker who wants people to buy his shoes. But the shoes are possessed and make anyone who wears them have to go work at the shoemaker’s shoe factory. Puss has to go find a team of people who aren’t from the town to free the townspeople from the shoemaker’s shoes. In another story, Puss can’t catch a thief who is doing things like graffiti, or switching apples and potatoes. He gets a friend to watch for him and finds quite a surprise! Then is a story where Puss’s friend has a book of sayings, but the ending is ripped out. So Puss and his friends make up their own endings for the sayings. The last story is about a hall of mirrors at a carnival. Some of the stories are funnier than others, and some of the pictures are better drawn than others; there are different authors and illustrators, and you may like some of them better than others. But if you like the Puss in Boots character, you will probably enjoy this collection of stories about him.
