Psi Another Day (Psi Fighter Academy)
Rinnie is just your normal teenager. She gossips about cute boys with her best friend Kathryn and tries to survive calculus. But every night, she sneaks of to train at Psi Fighter Academy, where she practices martial and mental arts. Mental arts are Psi Fighters’ special powers, but they aren’t the only wielders. The Walpurgis Knights, also trained in mental arts, are the sworn enemy of the Psi Fighters. When Rinnie was six years old, her parents died saving her. When she learns her parents’ killer is at her school, she must kill him. . . before he kills her.
Rinnie was a fun, spunky girl who knew what she wanted and took matters into her own hands. She tried to see the best in people and forgive them. The writing style is witty and tongue-in-cheek. The characters are multidimensional; you can never know what to expect from any character.I enjoyed the twisty plot and the resolution, but the ending was suspenseful and left an opening for the next book. I can’t wait to hear more about Rinnie and her friends!
