Princess DisGrace: A Royal Disaster
Once upon a time, there was a princess named Grace… Before you go any further, know that this is not your standard fairy tale. Grace is not very graceful. She is rather clumsy and comes from the small, cold kingdom of Cragland. However, she is a very, very, very kind girl. But some of the other princesses at the school which she is attending don’t think she’s fit to be a proper princess. Will Grace find a way to prove herself?
I really like this book because it’s not your standard, princess chapter book. Grace is definitely unique, and so is this book. In a lot of princess stories, the princess is very dainty and is pretty much born doing everything “proper” princesses do. But Grace is different. She never had a governess, she never cares about how her kingdom is small, and she is always cheerful and funny. Even though it’s a chapter book, it’s also easy to read. I think it would be great to read to younger kids, but older kids will enjoy it too. This book kept me entertained. I read it over and over and I will totally read it again.
