Powerpuff Girls Volume 1
In Powerpuff Girls Volume I: Second Chances, Mojo Jojo, the Powerpuff Girls chief nemesis decides he doesn’t want to be the villain anymore. So Professor Utonium agrees to change him back to the lab monkey he was. Him, another of Townsville’s resident criminals, decides to take advantage of Mojo Jojo’s change of heart and recruits the rest of Townsville’s thugs to take on the Powerpuff Girls. Of course, there’s a twist at the end, and well, we shouldn’t expect any more kindness from Mojo.
I loved this comic and think the illustrator did an amazing job of keeping it true to the cartoon. It was easy to get through and fun to read. I loved the colors, they seemed to match exactly the colors from the TV show. I will definitely continue on with this series. I hope that they will continue to bring back more of the characters from the show, such as the Rowdy Ruff Boys, and I’d love to see more of Fuzzy Lumpkin. As the narrator says, “So once again, the day is saved! Thanks to the Powerpuff Girls!”
