I liked this book because it was a girl and a boy making friends. They had such good imaginations that it made them not as shy so they could become friends.

The book starts out like this, there is an empty swimming pool with a boy in front of it. Then a whole bunch of people with tubes and canoes jumped in and there was no more room! So the boy dives beneath all the chaos. A girl saw him and went under also. They imagine a coral reef with all different kinds of creatures that are straight from the imagination world. They look a little like fish and seahorses but different. The boy and girl make up a whole new world, like swimming in a pretend ocean with their made up creatures. The other people leave mad or sad but the boy and girl are happy because they became friends.

I like this book because it has no words and then you can look at the pictures as long as you want and make up your own. I also like the creatures that were illustrated. I like that some have fur, some have big teeth and some have lots of legs and none are real.
