Pony Scouts: The Camping Trip (I Can Read Book 2)
This story is about a girl named Meg who hasn’t been camping before. She is going camping with her two friends, Annie and Jill, and they are taking their ponies. Meg is very excited to go, but she isn’t very prepared. She forgets to bring a flashlight and bug spray – but her friends are very nice and they share with her. She also isn’t very good at setting up a tent! I’ve only been camping one time (without a horse) and it was a lot of fun until I got stung by a wasp! My favorite part of the book is when Meg tells the other girls a scary story about a ghost pony with yellow glowing eyes. Annie and Jill get scared and then they see a light in the woods and think that the ghost pony is coming after them! You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens! I love horses and ponies and take riding lessons on a horse named PJ. I would love to go camping with PJ!
