Pippa Park Crush at First Sight (2)
It’s almost Christmas, and everything seems overwhelming for twelve-year-old Pippa Park. The most popular girl in school is now pressuring her to host the most expensive Christmas party Pippa has ever seen! Finding decor, fancy food, and a room for the party already seems like a lot, But that’s not all. Pippa has to volunteer at her Korean church, choose between two boys she likes, and deal with a very naughty cat. Can Pippa make the right choices, stay true to her friends, and get the party going in a month?
Perfect for middle-grade readers, Pippa Park Crush at First Sight is a great story about trust, hope, and some romance. My favorite part was near the end because it got a little sentimental. I also like how realistic the story was. I recommend this book to people who have read the first book and to people who are looking for middle-grade chapter books involving friendships and crushes.
