Pinkalicious: Thanksgiving Helper
The first thing I noticed about this book was that it has extra treats! There are Thanksgiving place cards, stickers, and a poster inside the book. The story is about Pinkalicious helping with the Thanksgiving meal. The other characters are her younger brother Peter, her daddy, and her mommy. Pinkalicious pretends to be Princess Pink Feather and her brother pretends to be Pilgrim Pete. I like that part because Pinkalicious has a pink feather and she loves pink and more pink – just like me! The kids try to help make Thanksgiving dinner. They say things like “I can use my arrowhead for a knife” and “I bet they used seashells for cups.” The illustrations are very bright and colorful, with a lot of my favorite color pink. I liked when Peter said that he is thankful for rolls because it makes me laugh. Boys and girls who like books with stickers and other surprises could enjoy this book. It is a really good book because the story is about a family sharing a holiday together.
