Pete the Cat: Too Cool for School (My First I Can Read)
Pete the Cat is one cool cat! This is a cute story of a cat trying to get ready for school. He is cool so he has to make sure he looks cool for school. Pete the Cat goes around asking his family, friends, neighbors, and teachers for clothes advice. Everyone has a different opinion to what is cool and Pete the Cat takes everyone’s advice. After getting dressed, Pete the Cat realizes that he is wearing too many clothes! At the end, Pete the Cat learns that it is his opinion that counts.
I am a Pete the Cat fan so I really liked this book. It is a very silly story and I think most kids will like reading about Pete the Cat’s new adventure. Also, this is an easy reader so I think kids that are learning how to read will enjoy this book. There are lots of colorful pictures so new readers won’t get scared by lots of big words. I think older kids would like to read this book to a younger brother or sister too!
