Pete the Cat: Rock On, Mom and Dad!

I have read a lot of Pete the Cat books. At a reading event today, someone read a Pete the Cat book, and last week I made a pottery craft at a Pete the Cat storytime. So I know a lot about Pete the Cat! This book shows Pete playing his guitar and standing with his parents. It tells a story about how Pete gets help from his mom and dad. “Does Pete have to worry? Not at all.” Some of the things they help Pete with are making breakfast, packing his backpack, playing baseball, and taking him to his guitar lessons. There is also Pete’s big brother cat named Bob who is featured in other Pete the Cat books. I like when Bob tells Pete, “So long as it’s from the heart, Mom and Dad will totally dig it.” This book also has some extra-special treats like a poster, cards, and stickers. I think it is sweet that Pete wants to do nice things to thank his parents. If you read this book, you will learn how Pete surprises his Mom and Dad. I want to surprise my Mom and Dad and I will make it sweet.
