Peanuts: Sunday’s Fun Day, Charlie Brown
This book is a comic strip collection, featuring reprinted comics from the Sunday paper during the 1960s! It is full of our favorite characters, including Charlie Brown. I like this book because it is funny and entertaining. There is always someone getting into mischief. Charlie Brown is gullible and sweet, and he is constantly getting tricked by Lucy with the football!
One of my favorite panels is when Snoopy is too cold outside, so he knocks to come in. After Charlie Brown lets him in, Snoopy feels stuffy, so he knocks to go back out. Then it rains, and he knocks to come back in, much to Charlie Brown’s frustration! It’s so funny, because my dog does the same thing! Another panel that was especially funny to me was when Lucy takes Linus’s blanket to wash it and he freaks out until she returns it. He can’t be without his lovie!
All lovers of the Peanuts gang will enjoy this book, so I recommend it to anyone who would like a good laugh. If you’re feeling grumpy, this is the perfect book to pick up to change sad feelings into happy ones.
