Pax, Journey Home
Pax is now in the wild with Bristle, Runt, and his new kits. But he still misses his boy, Peter, who he used to have. When Pax promises his daughter some water and they go and try to find some, his daughter drinks. But she gets sick and seems to be getting weaker every day. Will Pax be able to save his kit and find his boy? Peter wants to forget about getting a pet. Every time he thinks of Pax he gets really emotional. Now he’s going to a place called Water Warriors, where people help save the rivers that have been poisoned because of the previous war. Peter didn’t go there to help the water. He went there to start his life. Will he be able to do so and will he run into Pax while he’s with the Water Warriors?
I thought this book answered a lot of questions from the first book, Pax. It was adventurous and emotional, and I liked it a lot. I read a version before it was published, so I didn’t get the illustrations, which I wished I had seen. You really get to know the characters while reading this book. If you like books about friendship and adventure, you’ll like this book a lot! If you want to read this book, I recommend reading the first book before this one.
