Papillon, Book 1 The Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon
Papillon is a fluffy kitty cat. He is so fluffy that he floats away. His owner is Miss Tilly. She weighs him down with lots of hats and silly costumes. He doesn’t float away, but he doesn’t like wearing clothes and I think Miss Tilly got carried away with the costumes too. One day, he refuses the clothes and has the time of his life. He has fun swimming and dancing in the air. Then he spots a bird and flies out the window. He follows the bird. He gets lost. He wants to go home. He makes himself clothes out of leaves. They blow away. The bird uses a string of leaves to pull Papillon like a balloon. It takes him home. Miss Tilly puts a birdcage on Papillon’s head. He gets weighed down and his friend, the bird, stays in the cage.
I like this book very much. The pictures are adorable. The ending is so beautiful. A kitty who can fly is adorable. Little kids would definitely like this book. It’s not hard to read. I like the part with Papillon’s blanket costume – that’s my favorite picture. This book is adorable! The author really has a cat named Papillon. I think he flies.
