Otto Goes North

This book has a great mix of characters you wouldn’t normally see together. This is a great book to learn about how the North and South varies from one another. The illustrations in this book are absolutely amazing, very colorful and vibrant. Otto Goes North is the enchanting tale of a lemur making a daring journey north to see his friends. The North cannot be that different from the South, can it? Otto journeys for hundreds of days, weeks or possibly years on his bicycle to see his friends, Nils the bear and Lisa the Lynx. When Otto makes it to his friends, he wants to see the Northern Lights and create a memorable painting of his time visiting with friends, but he soon finds out how the North is different from his home in the South. It is so cold that Otto is unable to paint, or do anything, his friends will do anything to make his experience a trip to remember. His friends succeed and make this trip amazing for Otto, and he cannot wait for his friends to come and visit him in the South.
