Otter Loves Halloween!
Otter has been waiting for Halloween for a very, very, very long time, but when it comes, it’s too scary. When they go pumpkin shopping, Otter does not like any of the pumpkins her owner, Otter Keeper, chooses. She and her teddy bear eventually pick a gigantic one. She over-decorates by putting a pretend cobweb on Otter Keeper’s pants, and dresses up herself and her friends. Then, she thinks the trick-or-treaters are way too scary when they come, so she hides under the bed upstairs. Her owner draws faces on boxes, and puts one on Otter’s head, so she won’t see the scary trick-or-treaters. Later, she makes special costumes for all her toys, and falls asleep on top of them.
I like this book because it’s funny. First of all, he has an otter as a pet. I like when they go pumpkin shopping, and Otter Keeper works really hard carrying the pumpkin, while Otter just tells him were to go. This book is good for people with a sense of humor. She gets a broom and sprinkles glittery stars on it, but it still doesn’t turn into a witch’s broom. I really like the first book too, which is I Am Otter. I can’t wait to read the next one called Otter In Space.
