One Noisy Night
One morning, Little Hedgehog was eating breakfast with his friends. The friends were talking about some loud sounds they had heard the night before. Little Hedgehog didn’t hear a thing because he was sleeping! That very night, Fox heard the sounds again. When he went to investigate, he saw a fuzzy red hat, just like the one Little Hedgehog wears! But, again, Little Hedgehog said he was home all night. Who had Fox seen?
When Fox and Badger heard the sounds the following night, they went to see where all the noise was coming from. But they just bumped into each other, instead of finding the owners of the red hats! Soon after, the noises wake all the friends, who run outside to see that the river is flooding!
Who will help the friends save their homes? Will they figure out the mystery behind what is causing the noisy nights?
I loved this book because of the colorful, happy pictures. Because this is a touch-and-feel book, the red hats were soft and fuzzy to touch. I enjoyed the story because it was suspenseful but happy in the end!
