Oliver and the Seawigs
This book is about a boy named Oliver. His parents are adventurers who have explored everything there is to explore. They are going to their permanent home on the ocean. But Oliver has never seen this house because he’s spent his entire life on adventures. He was so excited to be a typical boy with a bedroom instead of a world traveler. Oliver’s parents promised they would never go on another adventure and that he could live in one place. However, as soon as they arrived home, his mom and dad saw three islands that have recently appeared in front of their house and they left on a boat to investigate. Oliver decided to search for his parents and ended up on a different island. This is when the mysterious adventure with sea monkeys, talking islands, and mermaids begins.
This book is adventurous, exciting and strange. The drawings are fantastic. The book kept me interested and it was really quick to read. It was funny and unique. I hope I can read more books about Oliver, the Seawigs, and the mermaid.
