Octopus Shocktopus is a nice book about an octopus doing things for a house. It is an awesome book that many people should like, especially six to eight year olds.
It’s not a totally great picture of an octopus though; I mean, it’s missing the funnel, which is kind of an important part of an octopus because that is how it moves. Also, the octopus needs to live in water, otherwise it will die. The octopus is a really, really bright orange color, and you almost don’t want to look at it.
It is a creative book but you just don’t really learn anything except maybe some new words. If you know a lot about octopuses, then this will not be very exciting.
