The picture book Octopants by Suzy Senior is about an octopus. He thought he needed underpants, but he actually didn’t. His legs were arms and the other critters laughed at him. He thought he needed octopants, but instead he needed an octo-sweater. I liked the story because the octopus thought he needed octopants, but he didn’t. It was funny because he wanted underpants, but he didn’t need them. I like how the story rhymes. I like the illustrations because they are cute. The barnacles are very cute, especially the baby barnacles. I also liked the urchins in onesies because they looked silly.
