Now You See Me, Now You Don’t
This book doesn’t have any words or any stories, but it is still really fun. On the cover you only see some things that look like bubbles – they are really eyes – but you don’t see what the eyes go with. That is what the book is like inside. The first page shows all these animals, like a crocodile and a hippo and a bear and a chicken, but then when you turn the page, one of the animals has disappeared! Except you can still see its eyes. That is because the page isn’t white anymore. So when the page is orange, you don’t see the orange chicken because it blends in, and when the page is purple, the purple elephant blends in. But the chameleon always blends in – you never see him!
This book is lots of fun to look at because you always try to remember what animal blended in and it is funny to see the little eyes without the animals! Sometimes the animals are even in the sky or underwater, too, which is funny. Like how would an elephant be up in the clouds? This book will be fun for any children to look at.
