Nothing Happens in This Book
This book starts with a black page. The next page has a man with a lantern, so you can see his shadow. There are only speech bubbles. The man doesn’t think it’s a good idea to keep reading, because there’s nothing in the book. Then you see a shadow of a bear. The man sees something on the next page. It’s a shoe and a ball. Then he finds a clown nose, a trumpet, and a car with a hat on it. The bear gets in the car and drives it. The man gets excited when he finds balloons. He finds a lot of other stuff, then he finds a parade, but everyone is missing things. He gives them all their things. Then they can start the parade. Then the man is really happy and says, “Everything happens in this book!”
The book was good. I like how he finds stuff as he goes along. I liked the drawings. My favorite drawing is the clown saying the man can keep his nose. Afterward, the man wears it to the parade. This book is cute, funny, and silly. The man is talking to the reader. I like being part of the story.
